niederschlesien - sokolik

  1. Beautiful rocks, and the close up shots again remind me of Stolby (and of your home). Such a cute name - Sokolik. You probably know what it means, yes?

The architecture is so cozy in this area, very inviting, gorgeous woodwork!

Some day, I'd like to walk together - beaches, forest... but no rock climbing for me please. :) xxxxxx

  2. Oh yes, the views are stunning, even if you have to be brave enough to climb up those unsteady iron steps to see them! What a lovely place to walk, and to stay - the wooden chalet-style building look as though it is in a fairy tale!
I'll come walking with you and Natalia, but I'm another one who doesn't fancy rock climbing... xxxx

Is aber wurscht.
LG Sunny

  6. You know, during this dark, cloud hugged time of the year, when green grass is long gone and the trees stand out against their surroundings all the more, I'm struck quite powerfully by how much this landscape, when viewed from a distance/high vantage point, looks like parts of the Okanagan where I live. Usually I wouldn't say that because the landscapes and forests you share are so delightfully verdant, but again, here I feel like the two could be cousins. Isn't it interesting what the seasons can do to shape the landscape like that?

Tons of hugs & happy Wednesday wishes,
    ♥ Jessica
